Prepwork Policy
I prefer to do my own prep, as I’ve received pieces that have been “prepped” but not to the degree one needs for pastels. If your piece happens to be prepped already, please let me know who prepped it and what materials (if primed) to make sure it won’t react with my sealers. I can repair ears, broken legs, missing mane/tail tips but that will add to the cost.
If pre-prepped, I reserve the right to check the piece over once in hand. If it needs more prep, an additional cost will be added or the piece may be returned if the customer does not wish to move forward.

What I accept
Before a commission is accepted; a full set of photos must be sent to me of your BLANK model (sides, front, top, under, back) to determine the condition so there's no surprises when the model arrives. I do not work with specific 3D prints due to fragility, and pricing of prep for your piece will vary for the condition it is blank (clean cast, 2nd quality, etc). I can repair breaks, ears, etc but I do not offer stripping and will not paint over previous paintwork. Stablemates & Venti/curio scales mainly. Rarely any larger unless I post about those openings on my socials. I will no longer accept Micro commissions unless posted on my socials.

Payments
I accept PayPal Goods & Services. Payment in full up front is preferred (Please see my policies for more details). If time pays are needed, 25% balance must be paid before I start, with the balance due within 2 weeks of model completion. Plenty of warning of the models completion is given to parties as I work, as I send progress updates. Commissions paid in full take precedence over time pay commissions. Any and all payments are nonrefundable, no exceptions. Failure to complete payment will result in the party to not be able to do time pays in the future, no more commission opportunities, and red/yellow lights being left on the transaction boards. If the body was provided by the commissioner, model will be stripped/partially stripped and returned with no refund- NO EXCEPTIONS- due to non-payment after those 2 weeks UNLESS prior arrangements made. If I provided the model, model will be put for public sale.

Pricing
Pricing is on a piece by piece basis, and goes off of; prep needed, color wanted, and includes shipment/insurance when completed. Below are estimates of what pricing could be for each scale starting with basic colors. Pricing is subject to change if cost of materials go up, etc.
Micro: Starting at $225
Stablemate: Starting at $275
Venti/Curio: Starting at $375/400
Traditional: Starting at $1000 (more or less due to size)

Paintwork
Before a commission is agreed on and pricing, please have a solid idea of what you are looking for (either detailed description, or reference photos as that helps my pricing). More details to add will mean the cost will go up (solid bay will be less than say, a dappled buckskin tobiano). Once a color is agreed upon and price, I do not allow major changes. Minor changes (small markings- legs or face) can be changed or chosen once the base color is on. Example; If we agree on a flea-bitten grey, price agreed upon & paid. Once I start, I will not do a total color change to another color.
Artist Choice: Artist choice is an option! This is my favorite type of commission. I do ask what your favorite colors are, and what colors you absolutely do not want to see to base the end result. Updates for this method can be photos, or just text if the owner would like the end result to be a surprise.

Other information
Each piece can vary in time, but I do try to complete pieces in a timely manner. Pieces paid in full take precedence over time pays.
As I work in pastels, it can be very weather reliant. I do live in an area that can be very humid.
If a piece needs to be done within a certain time frame, please let that be known from the beginning when inquiring about a commission.
RESCULPTING:
I currently do not offer resculpting of manes, tails, necks, etc at this time.
